The El Cortez has 300 rooms, plus an additional 100 rooms located at our Ogden House Hotel adjacent to our main tower.

Our Reservations Office is open daily from 8:00 AM until 11:00 PM. You may make reservations after office hours by contacting our Front Desk, or by booking online.
JACUZZI SUITE
These rooms are located in the tower and have one king bed, sofa, desk and two color televisions. The two person jetted tub makes this suite a perfect romantic getaway.
2 QUEENS TOWER
KINGS TOWER
The tower rooms are beautifully decorated and include a loveseat, chair and coffee table in the sitting room. These rooms have either one king or two queen beds. Handicap rooms are available in the tower. Beautiful views of the strip or mountains are available in this 15 story building.
VINTAGE QUEEN
The Vintage Rooms have STAIRWAY ACCESS ONLY and are SMOKING ONLY rooms. Located above the casino floor these rooms have one queen size bed. The original El Cortez rooms.
PAVILION 2 QUEENS
The Pavilion Rooms are comfortable and a great value with two queen beds and convenient access to the parking garage. Elevator access directly to the casino and close to our restaurants.
All types of rooms are available in smoking and nonsmoking on a space available basis. Pay per view movies, wireless internet connection, free valet parking, monthly promotions are just a few of the services you can enjoy while staying at the El Cortez.
All rooms types have telephones with voice mail, cable TV with pay per view movies, wireless internet access (surcharge) and shower/tub combination.
Banquets and Receptions
We have a 2000 square foot banquet room which will accommodate parties of up to 75 people. Contact our Catering Department for pricing and availability.

Beauty Salon
A full service, unisex salon. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Located on the 2nd floor next to the Executive Offices. Phones (702) 385-2956 for an appointment.
El Cortez Barber Shop
Serving the El Cortez for over 20 years, the Barber Shop is located on the second floor near the Vintage rooms. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 am - 5:00 PM.
Area Nightclubs
In late August 2007, the city of Las Vegas completed a $5.5 million
streetscape effort for downtown's new entertainment district, Fremont East.
These streetscape improvements were made possible through a public-private
partnership by the city of Las Vegas and Fremont East property owners.
Located in the heart of downtown, the Fremont East District sits adjacent to
the popular tourist attraction called Fremont Street Experience, which was
visited by 18.7 million people last year.
Improvements made included the creation of wider sidewalks and more
pedestrian-friendly streets; landscaping; lighted gateways and four
40-foot-tall, retro-looking neon signs. Through this streetscape effort, the
city is capitalizing on popular nostalgia by reviving the old glamour of
vintage Las Vegas.
From Las Vegas Boulevard to Eighth Street, three blocks of Fremont Street
experienced this transformation. Streetscape improvements were begun in late
January 2007 and took seven months to complete.
As part of its downtown revitalization efforts, the city's Redevelopment
Agency contributed funds to this renovation in an effort to attract
additional non-gaming nightclubs, cocktail lounges and entertainment
hotspots to the area.
