For the month of March, Jackie’s Club Cortez players winning a jackpot of $200 or more on any slot machine or five-cent or lower denomination video poker machine or live keno, or $300 or more on all other denomination video poker machines receive a ticket redeemable for a free box of See’s Candy while supplies last. Players may use one ticket to redeem a 1-pound box of candy or two tickets to receive a 2-pound box. All jackpot winners receive entry into the weekly Saturday night high-definition television and $2,000 cash prize drawing. In lieu of See’s Candy, winners may redeem one ticket for either a $10 gas card (Mobil/Exxon, Arco or Shell) or a $10 gift card redeemable at Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Walgreens, Sears or Smith’s Grocery. LEARN VIDEO POKER TIPS FROM A PRO
Players learn tips from a video poker professional as Bob Dancer offers classes at the El Cortez. Players are taught the skills and tips needed to enhance their game and increase their payouts. Dancer’s exclusive classes are taught every Wednesday at Roberta’s Steakhouse. Beginner-level classes are scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and intermediate-level classes from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Classes are free and subject to seating capacity. Players can reserve a space in classes by visiting Jackie’s Club Cortez every Wednesday beginning at 9:30 a.m.

During blackjack, tickets are distributed to players when the dealer receives a blackjack, during roulette, tickets are distributed to players when a 0 or 00 is hit, and during baccarat, players receive a ticket every time a “tie” hand is dealt. Double tickets will be given to players every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Players can only win one prize per drawing. There is no limit to the number of entries a player may submit.
